1. FC Nürnberg - FC Schalke 04

Die Anhänger beider Vereine verbindet eine langjährige Fanfreundschaft. Während des Bundesligaspiels am 11. April 2012 forderten sie in einer gemeinsamen Aktion die Umbenennung des Nürnberger Stadions in Max-Morlock-Stadion. Momentan trägt es den als unwürdig empfundenen Namen eines Kredites.

Max Morlock war Mitglied der Weltmeisterelf von 1954 und der einzige für den 1. FC Nürnberg aktive Spieler, der je an einer Fußball-WM teilgenommen hat. Er verstarb 1994.

Both sets of fans are connected by a long-lasting friendship. During the Bundesliga game on 11 April 2012 they claimed in a joint action to rename Nuremberg’s ground to “Max-Morlock-Stadion”. As today, the naming rights are hold by a German bank and the therefore ground is called by one of their financing products.

Max Morlock was a member of the German team that won their first World Cup in 1954 and the only player ever to participate in a WC whilst contracted to 1. FC Nuremberg. He passed away in 1994.
